Rules and nomination for sports disciplines

Sports disciplines are governed by the rules of their international sports federations.

Some disciplines have a limited capacity. If the capacity is filled, no further registrations will be accepted.

Each participant may compete in one discipline on Friday and in one discipline on Saturday.

e.g. Racers in the giant slalom on Friday may compete in a special slalom on Saturday. Cross-country skiers for 15 (10) km on Friday may compete in the cross-country ski race for 5 km on Saturday as well as in the cross-country ski relay (Saturday). A combination of two different sports – in two days – is also possible, for instance, cross-country skiing on Friday a darts tournament on Saturday. Ice-hockey matches and poker tournaments have a two-day duration, competitors in these disciplines cannot participate in other disciplines.
